The
foundation stone of Mehta Group of Companies were
laid when Late Hakim (Vaidya) Shri Hiralal D. Mehta
started this venture as a small cottage industry
in 1953 in a small room with a sum of INR 500. He
single handedly manufactured and marketed his first
product, the Star malam (ointment) which was meant
to treat various skin ailments. |
